Frequently asked questions
Detailed answers about fuel data, map, calculator, station profiles and everyday portal usage.
Why can the displayed price differ from the station price?
Prices on the portal are informational and may change during the day. A station may also have local campaigns, loyalty prices or operator-specific adjustments. The portal is designed for comparison and planning, while the final price should always be checked at the station before refuelling.
How often is the data updated?
The portal checks and refreshes fuel information regularly, currently roughly every 5 hours. If a refresh is temporarily incomplete, the latest valid data remains visible so the service stays usable instead of showing empty or partial information.
What does the “updated X minutes/hours ago” text mean?
It shows how long ago the currently visible fuel data was successfully updated. A human-readable format is used so you can quickly understand whether the information is fresh or already somewhat older.
How do 24-hour price changes work?
The 24-hour change compares the current price with the nearest available historical reference point around the previous day. If there is not enough history yet for a specific station or fuel type, the comparison may still be marked as building.
How should I use the fuel map?
Use search, brand filters, fuel type filters and radius controls to find suitable stations. The “near me” feature can use your browser location permission and helps you compare nearby options quickly.
How does the fuel cost calculator work?
The calculator estimates trip cost from distance, average consumption and fuel price. The real result may vary because of driving style, traffic, tyre pressure, weather, road conditions and vehicle load.
Why are some fuel types missing for a station?
Not every station offers all fuel types. If LPG or another type is not shown, the portal currently has no reliable price or availability data for it at that station.
How can station profiles be used?
A station profile collects brand, address, available prices, map and route actions in one place. It is useful when you want to check one exact station before driving there.
Are loyalty discounts included?
Usually the portal shows generally comparable public prices, not personalised loyalty, business contract or app-specific prices. Always check your app or loyalty programme for the final price.
How can I report incorrect information?
Use the contact page and include station name, address, brand and a short description of what is wrong. More precise reports are easier to verify and correct.
Can I use the portal on mobile?
Yes. The portal is responsive and supports map, calculator, station profiles, articles and route pages on mobile devices.
Why does the portal include articles and routes?
Articles and routes add practical context: fuel consumption, car costs, driving habits and trip planning ideas. They complement the map and calculator instead of replacing them.
